Security

Windows 10/11 (Pro, Enterprise, LTSC), Ubuntu and Macintosh are supported by BOT compliant standard setup.

General

The subnets are checked weekly for unsafe equipment,
MS updates are deployed monthly,
If possible, software updates are deployed with release.

Antivirus

In order to continue to comply with the BOT and IT guidelines (see link below) and to ensure basic protection on your own device, ETH Zurich recommends using the antivirus solution of the respective operating system.

Windows has Windows Defender built-in,
MacOS has XProtect built-in.
