Construction program for foraminifers
after Berger, W. H., 1969. Planktonic foraminifera: basic morphology and ecologic implications. Journal of Paleontology, 43(6), 1369-1383.
Two dimensional views of foramanifera can be drawn by varying the following parameters:
- Spiral expansion rate
- Angle between successive chambers in degrees
- Ratio of successive chamber radii
- Total number of whorls (maximum 5)
Variation of these parameters create spirally and serially shaped foraminifera.
